The University of Maine, Presque Isle recently underwent a major renovation of its gymnasium facilities at Wieden Hall. The project included the installation of a new steel deck, a class A fire retardant vapor barrier, and a hybrid roofing insulation package consisting of 6" of XPS and a .5" high-density cover board. Additionally, a .060 adhered PVC roof system with an integrated snow retention system on the field of the roof and a built-in snow melt system was added to the bottom 4 feet of the roof assembly.
